About Marcy

Marcy Hull is available to assist you with osteopathic care. She studied Anthropology at McMaster University, and Massage Therapy at Kikkawa College where she graduated in 1999. She began studying manual osteopathy at the Canadian College of Osteopathy in 2002, and graduated in 2017 with many pauses for reflection. She has continued post graduate studies in the Biodynamic Approach to Osteopathy in the Cranial Fleld. She has a special affinity for working with babies and children with oral and feeding challenges, and works in harmony with Lactation consultants, Dentists, Physiotherapists, and Occupational therapists to assist babies to experience ease of development. Her thesis entitled, "The effects of Osteopathic Treatment on Low Milk Supply: a pilot study”, gave context for the importance of wholeness of function within the mother-child dyad. This, however, is not the whole focus of her osteopathic practice. She treats all people, of all ages, who need assistance, and has a wide range of experience with many presentations. She approaches mechanical issues, and pain issues with a whole person perspective. As a result, patients often experience relief of symptoms in a short number of visits. She has in the past worked to support those who present with mood disorders, and adults with ADHD. She recently retired (2024) from her membership with the Canadian College of Massage Therapists (CMTO) where she was a member in good standing since 1999. She is a current member of the OAO (Ontario Association of Osteopathic Manual Practitioners), and through that association, is a member of the Canadian Federation of Osteopaths, the OIA (Osteopathic International Alliance), and the EurOst Do (European Federation of Osteopaths)
