About Maireena

Maireena was born and raised here in Calgary and graduated with a 2200 hour diploma from Mount Royal University. Maireena grew up playing basketball and swimming among various other sports, but she found her real passion for health and fitness when she started yoga in high school. Maireena strongly believes that exercise is medicine, which led her to pursue a career in massage therapy. Maireena’s goal as a massage therapist is to keep people doing the activities they love. Maireena believes in an active approach to treatment and incorporates education, therapeutic exercise, and manual therapy into her sessions; She understands that every person is unique and works alongside her clients to create a treatment plan that fits their lifestyle. Outside of the clinic, Maireena spends time with her two dogs and loves hiking, yoga, swimming, and growing plants in her garden.
