About Maggie

Maggie has always had a keen interest in the sciences and quickly realized that she enjoyed sharing her knowledge as much as she did expanding her own. This naturally led her to attain a Bachelor of Education Degree from the University of Alberta in 2012. Maggie taught for several years before returning to school to explore an additional career in the alternative health care field. Maggie studied at the accredited Georgian College Massage Program in Barrie and received her Advance Diploma with honours. She has gained experience in both wellness and impairment massage working with a variety of different demographics and pathologies. Through assessment, Maggie aims to create both a safe and effective individual treatment plan centered around your personal goals. She enjoys integrating a variety of techniques into treatment such as Swedish and deep tissue, joint mobilizations, hydrotherapy, and remedial exercise. With a background in education, Maggie is passionate about life long learning and staying up to date with the latest health and healing research. In addition to massage, Maggie continues to teach within the community. She is a huge animal lover with two snuggly dogs of her own. In her free time she can be found spending time with her family and friends and enjoying all that the area has to offer such as boating, fishing, and snowmobiling.
