About Lyne
Lyne is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). Having completed a double major in Psychology and Philosophy at the University of Toronto, Lyne went on to earn a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University.
Lyne works with adult individuals and couples dealing with anxiety, depression, isolation, trauma, stress, anger, life transitions, self-esteem, mood disorders, ADHD, anger, grief, relationship difficulties, and more. She believes therapy is most effective when it’s collaborative, where clients feel supported but also gently challenged to see new perspectives and possibilities. Her goal is to help clients understand patterns, develop awareness, and reconnect with their sense of agency and direction.
Drawing from a wide range of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Narrative Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Psychoanalytic Therapy, Mindfulness, Acceptance-based methods (ACT and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing).
Lyne tailors each session to meet the unique needs and goals of her clients. She often integrates insights from neuroscience to deepen understanding of emotional regulation, attachment, and trauma responses, allowing for a more holistic and personalized therapeutic process.
Her style is flexible, grounded, and reflective. She values honesty, curiosity, and the courage it takes to do this work. Lyne works primarily with adults but also supports children and couples. She strives to help clients see themselves and their relationships with greater clarity, offering new ways of understanding and responding to life’s challenges in English, Arabic and French.
