About Lucas

Lucas is currently accepting new clients for in-person and virtual family therapy, couples therapy, youth therapy, child therapy, and individuals. Your story—and your child’s—deserves to be understood with care. The experiences we carry shape how we see ourselves, how we show up in relationships, and how we navigate the world. At times, the hardest seasons—grief, trauma, disconnection, or ongoing stress—can make us question our worth, our instincts, or our ability to cope. As parents, we may worry we’re getting it wrong. As individuals, we may wonder if we’re just too much—or not enough. But these are not truths. You are not the problem. You are the starting point for healing, clarity, and meaningful change. In therapy, we’ll take time to explore what’s brought you here—whether it’s a personal struggle, a parenting challenge, or something harder to name. Together, we’ll reflect on what has shaped you (and your family), reconnect with your values, and begin to imagine new ways forward. I am a registered Social Worker with a Master of Social Work from Carleton University. I’ve worked with children, adolescents, parents, and adults in both public and private settings, supporting people through a wide range of concerns—including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, relationship challenges, parenting stress, and emotional regulation. I offer affirming support to LGBTQ2+ clients and families, and welcome people from all walks of life. My approach is collaborative, respectful, and grounded in evidence-based practices. These include Collaborative Problem Solving (CPS), Circle of Security, Emotion-Focused Family Therapy (EFFT), Narrative Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I tailor my approach to your goals and pace—whether you’re looking to process something deeply painful, build stronger family relationships, or feel more steady in your daily life. At its heart, therapy is about making space—for your story, your needs, your growth, and your voice. I’m here to offer support, curiosity, and care as you take the next step. If you’re ready to begin, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
