People often come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of how things got so difficult. My role is to slow things down with you, understand the full context of your life, and help you make sense of what you're facing.
I believe your story deserves to be told in your own words. Rather than treating problems as something inside you, I’m interested in the bigger picture; the circumstances, relationships, and experiences that shape what you’re going through.
At the same time, therapy isn’t only about what’s been hard. I pay close attention to the strengths, values, and commitments that have helped you keep going, even during challenging times. Often people underestimate the ways they’ve already been responding with care, resilience, and intention.
I’ve been working as a counsellor since 2012 and have supported individuals, couples, families (18+), and groups in public health, post-secondary institutions, non-profit organizations, and private practice. My work is grounded in narrative, response-based, and solution-focused therapies, and I tailor my approach to each person and situation.
