About Lisa
Lisa graduated from the University of New Brunswick with a Bachelor in Kinesiology in 2004 and completed a Bachelor of Science of Physiotherapy in 2007 at Dalhousie University. Since graduating, Lisa has taken many post graduate courses including manual therapy, Shift Concussion Management, Urban Poling instructor courses, Dry needling, traditional Acupuncture, German Auricular Acupuncture, muscle imbalance correction, Mulligan technique, McKenzie technique, and many APTEI courses. She uses all the tools in her toolbox to help each client reach their full recovery potential. Spending her youth in a competitive gymnastics’ environment as a gymnast and then as a competitive coach she enjoys helping athletes learn how to prevent injury and to return to sport after injury. She has transferred her love of gymnastics to a love of rock climbing. She spends her free time with her two kiddos and her husband climbing, hiking, camping and loves getting home to “The Island” as often as she can.
