About Lindsey

I have always been drawn to creative and holistic modalities. Clever Girl is my personal passions coming together in one space! I love to problem-solve and help others work through obstacles, find resources, and feel empowered. I have experience working in healthcare as a caregiver and tried to be a cheerleader and advocate for each of the individuals and families I worked with. I also bring a unique perspective to my coaching, which has been formed through various life experiences that required new levels of self-growth, whether I thought I was ready for it or not. Throughout those experiences, I would find myself constantly researching and looking for tools or resources. I wanted to find ways to help myself navigate challenges and to create a sustainable, supportive life that brought me joy. I am a late-diagnosed Neurodivergent woman, and it is important to me to be a coach who is neurodiversity affirming and supportive. I also have a trauma background, with many years of investing in doing my own therapy work. I believe that as a coach and someone with lived experience, I bring a trauma-understanding perspective to my coaching. I also firmly believe in the power and importance of supporting every individual in their chosen identity and want this to be an LGBTQ+ safe and affirming space. My Bachelor of Arts degree is from The Evergreen State College, Tacoma. It is a synthesis of Anthropology, Sociology, Women's Studies, and Visual Methodologies. I currently live in the Cowichan Valley with my Partner, stepkids, cat, and two Guinea Pigs.
