About Lindsay
Boozhoo & hello! My name is Lindsay Thomson, and I am a Metis Registered Psychotherapist and a Credentialed Music Therapist from Kenora, Ontario. I have worked in the field of mental health for just under a year following my music therapy graduation and am dedicated to supporting my clients through a holistic and creative approach to mental wellness. With a background in music therapy and psychotherapy, I enjoy combining these disciplines to offer empathetic, uniquely personalized care for individuals of all ages. In my spare time I love to write and perform music with my band, spend time with family & friends, as well as walk my dog Maxxine!
I strive to provide a compassionate, collaborative experience for clients where they are encouraged to express themselves openly while exploring new perspectives. My goal is to create a safe, comfortable, non-judgmental space where clients feel seen, supported, heard, and understood. By the end of each session, I hope clients feel a sense of inspiration, clarity, and encouragement to take significant steps toward their goals.
In a session with me, clients can expect a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Together, we may engage in reflection, emotion exploration, or participate in exercises to add to our personal regulation toolboxes! Each session is tailed to the client’s needs, with my aim being to provide a space where clients feel safe and motivated to learn about and express themselves authentically.
