She is experienced in supporting clients with relationship and interpersonal challenges, childhood and developmental trauma, mood disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder and personality disorders. Additionally, Lindsay works with complex mental health challenges and individuals struggling with suicidal ideations or self-harming behaviours. Lindsay is experienced working directly with first responders, responding to acute crises and mental health challenges in the community. She works with individuals, families, and groups in the mental health field. She draws from modalities of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Brief Solution Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Positive Psychology and Mindfulness practices. She tailors all sessions to match the needs of the individual, and together, will build a collaborative plan for success. Lindsay continues to actively pursue professional development opportunities in Polyvagal Trauma Theory, ASSIST Suicide Intervention and she attends numerous conferences on Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and Complex Trauma. Education: Lindsay is a Registered Social Worker, with a Bachelor of Social Work from Lakehead University, a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology, minoring in Psychology and Criminology at Western University, as well as an Addiction Counselling Diploma from McMaster University.
