About Lijo

Lijo George has 14 years of physiotherapy experience in orthopedics and sports rehabilitation with commendable skills in hands-on physiotherapy and he is an Advanced Practice Provider for Inter-professional Spine Assessment and Education Clinics (ISAEC) which acts as the first and primary point of contact for consultation and assessment of referred Patients. After completing a Masters in Physiotherapy, he has treated many patients in outpatient as well as inpatient set-up. With a keen interest in orthopedics, George spent the majority of his working career helping clients with orthopedic and sports injuries to meet their health and performance goals. George believes strongly in hands-on physiotherapy and active exercise therapy. He considers that educating patients about their condition results in a greater understanding of their injury and thus their treatment plan could be tailored to the specific goals of each individual. He tries to involve each patient with their active participation in their rehabilitation goals. As a former competitive runner himself, George tries to be more active by playing badminton in his spare time.
