Lifei Xu, RMT Lifei Xu is certified for IASTM upper and lower body (scraping) as well as hot stone/contract stone massage therapy. Lifei Xu is a good standing member of the College of Massage Therapy of British Columbia (CMTBC). She believes massage therapy promotes healing and help alleviate musculoskeletal associated disorders. Lifei is extremely dedicated to her profession and cares for client’s health. She understands no two patients share the exact same condition. At the beginning of each massage treatment session, she assesses patient condition using orthopedic tests to determine underlying causes of the primary condition. She will give her clinical impression and make appropriate treatment plan for the patient. At the end of massage treatment, she provides remedial exercise for patient in order to prevent further or repetitive injuries. Lifei Xu is experienced with Swedish massage and advanced massage technique, including myofascial release, trigger point release therapy, lymphatic drainage, PNF stretching etc. She is familiar with headache, shoulder pain, lower back pain as well as posture imbalance with many years of experience in healthcare as an asset.
