Leslie has called Quispamsis home since the age of ten. After graduating from Kennebecasis Valley High School, she continued her education at UNB and Algonquin College in Ottawa. She later returned to Quispamsis and began working for the School District office in Hampton, followed by front-desk roles at Kennebecasis Valley High School, Quispamsis Middle School, and Lakefield Elementary School. After retiring from the School District, Leslie continued working at a local church until her second retirement at the end of 2025.
Outside of work, Leslie enjoys photography and has even had her work featured in an exhibition at the Saint John Arts Centre. She still loves exploring local trails with her camera and her dog, Ebby, or kayaking on the beautiful waters of New Brunswick. Ebby is a therapy dog, and together they visited Embassy Hall for two years. They also enjoy visiting friends at the hospital and bringing comfort wherever they go.
