About Leianne
Hello – I’m Leianne. My work over the past 20 years has inspired me to connect with many individuals from varying walks of life. I have a passion for connecting with others and providing support to individuals who may be navigating challenging times. I am both fascinated and invigorated by the resilience that human beings possess and I find this inspirational in my own life.
We all face adversity in life. Having supports and adequate coping mechanisms to mange adversity is a skill that can be developed and nurtured. Time spent in this area is time well spent towards our own happiness, and I am honoured to be invited along this journey with the individuals that I work with.
Clinical areas of interest include: trauma, TBI and concussions, anxiety, stress management and coping skills. I work in a collaborative effort with you and you will find my approach to be efficient, compassionate and productive.
We may explore opportunities to reduce stress, re-process trauma, elevate functioning and find meaning in life.
I attained my Master’s in Clinical Social Work and I am certified in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Accelerated Resolution Therapy. I also have experience with Dialectal Behvioural Therapy.
Balance is a construct incredibly important to me. My goal is to empower individuals in finding balance in their own lives and moving from a place of surviving to thriving.
My desire is to approach practice whole-heartedly and with a deep dedication to honour this process with integrity, honesty and practicality.
