About Leah

Leah is a master’s student through the Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology program at Yorkville University. She will be joining Seen Heard Found as a counselling intern in January. Leah’s empathetic and kind character allows clients to feel supported, comforted, and open to exploring challenges. Leah utilizes a multitude of evidence-based modalities such as cognitive behavioural therapy, solution focused therapy, as well as mindfulness-based approaches. Leah believes in a person-centered approach and encourages the power of working collaboratively with clients in order to set goals and explore challenges, thoughts, and patterns. By fostering a safe space rooted in empathy, compassion, and autonomy, clients can feel supported through their therapeutic journeys. Leah believes everyone’s therapeutic journey looks different from one another and will adapt sessions to fit each client’s individual needs.
