Lauren Marshall is a Registered Clinical Counsellor offering in-person counselling in Parksville, British Columbia, as well as virtual sessions. Lauren holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Vancouver Island University, an Addictions Studies Certificate, and a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. She is trained in EMDR therapy and has experience supporting individuals with trauma, anxiety, depression, and the lasting impact of difficult or overwhelming life experiences. Her approach is trauma-informed, relational, and grounded in a strong understanding of how the nervous system shapes our thoughts, emotions, and behaviours. Her focus is on helping clients build awareness, feel more regulated, and develop a stronger sense of self. She values authenticity in the therapeutic relationship and believes that meaningful change begins with feeling understood, safe, supported, and able to show up as you are.
