About Laura
In practice since 2005, Laura’s interest in massage therapy started from a background in martial arts, dance, and synchronized swimming. It was strongly nudged by a car accident that caused extended problems with her neck, throat, TMJ, and hearing. She has focused her training on modalities and techniques to help address issues in these areas including using Lymphatic Drainage and Cranial Sacral Therapy. She also focusses on how unhappy feet can affect the balance and movelent of the rest of your body.
Her work addresses both obvious and underlying issues and provides therapeutic and rehabilitative treatments ranging from deeper tissue work to subtle techniques. She has extended training in a wide variety of skill sets including general massage, myofascial unwinding, cranial sacral therapy, manual lymphatic drainage, pregnancy massage, and Thai massage. Laura has taught massage therapy for 12 years so don't be surprised if you learn something new about yourself. Her goal is to help your overall health, to do what is best for your body.
