Laura has been practicing massage therapy since 2005. She specializes in Active Release Technique (ART), Acupuncture and Cupping massage. Her confidence is portrayed in her practice and her knowledge of anatomy and pathologies of the body make her treatments specific to her client’s needs. She believes in educating her clients and encourages them to engage in postural awareness and remedial exercises which in turn empowers her clients to assist them in their recovery. Laura leads a healthy lifestyle and has been a long-standing member at the YMCA. She believes that a well-balanced lifestyle not only enhances a healthy mind and body, but also helps to manage chronic pain, and will in turn, prevent re-injury. Since certifying in Active Release Technique in 2008 and completing her training in acupuncture in 2011, Laura is able to apply many modalities in her treatments such as cupping, acupuncture, electrostimulation, active release technique, deep tissue massage and myofascial release.
