About Laura

Registered Acupuncturist Laura received her Acupuncture Diploma from Eight Branches Academy of Eastern Medicine (2015) and has a Masters of Science in Nutrition from McGill University (2009). She also completed advanced acupuncture training at the Canadian Gynecology Institute of Chinese Medicine (2019), York University (2017) and Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine, China (2016). --- Laura uses a combination of acupuncture, cupping, guasha (myofascial scraping), tuina (acupressure), and moxibustion to balance and help repair the body, mind and spirit. She has the following areas of clinical focus: --- Women's health: Fertility Pregnancy Perimenopause --- Pain relief: Headaches Neck and shoulder tension Low back pain --- Head health: Post concussion syndrome Mental health, stress, anxiety Sleep issues --- Prior to joining Aurora Prime in 2021, Laura worked with other multi-disciplinary teams at private clinics in the Greater Toronto Area. Laura is an avid paddler, loves spending time outdoors and is mom to an energetic toddler. She is fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
