Welcome! In my office there is space for both laughter and tears! I am Laura, a registered psychologist serving individuals, couples, and adolescents throughout Alberta. I am passionate about helping individuals navigate complex interpersonal relationships, racial identity issues, trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, insomnia, and life transitions. I'm proud to provide services in both English and Spanish, embracing the beauty of diversity through multicultural counseling. I had the privilege of pursuing part of my studies in South America, specifically in Colombia and Brazil, where I gained a deep appreciation for cultural nuances and their impact on individuals. My therapeutic approach is a blend of proven methods, incorporating Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems informed (IFS), and Attachment-based approaches.
