# Meet Ken Ma, R.Ac. Ken Ma is a Registered Acupuncturist (R.Ac.) who is passionate about helping patients improve their health through Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). He provides compassionate, patient-centered care and believes every treatment plan should be personalized to address each individual's unique needs and health goals. Ken earned his Bachelor of Medicine from Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, where he completed more than 5,400 hours of classroom and clinical training in acupuncture, Tuina (Chinese therapeutic massage), moxibustion, Chinese medicine, anatomy, and clinical practice. His education combined extensive academic study with hands-on clinical experience in a hospital setting. During his clinical internship at Beijing University of Chinese Medicine Shenzhen Hospital, Ken gained experience working alongside healthcare professionals in departments including Orthopedics, Cardiovascular Medicine, Gynecology, and Neurosurgery. This multidisciplinary training strengthened his understanding of both acute and chronic health conditions while reinforcing the importance of personalized, evidence-informed patient care. Ken has experience treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions and has a particular interest in pain management, neck and shoulder pain, back pain, sports-related injuries, muscle tension, and mobility concerns. He also incorporates Traditional Chinese Medicine principles to support overall wellness, balance, and recovery. His treatments may include acupuncture, Tuina (Chinese therapeutic massage), moxibustion, auricular therapy, and individualized lifestyle recommendations based on Traditional Chinese Medicine principles.
