About Kristen
I'm a Registered Psychotherapist and I work with children (6+), adolescents and adults, with a special passion for supporting children and adolescents. I provide a safe and welcoming space where you or your child can explore feelings, build coping skills, and grow with confidence and self-compassion. Some common challenges I have supported clients with include anxiety, depression, grief, OCD, self-harm, suicidal ideation, trauma, self-esteem, and relationship challenges.
Together we focus on your strengths and goals, helping you or your child feel understood, supported, and empowered. I use a variety of therapeutic approaches to meet your needs, drawing from cognitive behavioural therapy, play therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and dialectical behaviour therapy.
After several years of professional experience supporting individuals with autism, along with specialized education, I have developed a deep appreciation of the unique strengths and challenges. I have also completed additional training to support children and adults with ADHD, helping them navigate daily life while building confidence and self-understanding.
In our work together, I strive to make the therapy process comfortable and collaborative. My hope is that you feel grounded, supported, and cared for as we navigate the process together.
