Kristen has always been interested in health and wellness and have made fitness and self-care a central part of her life. This led Kristen to earn a diploma as a Registered Massage Therapist in Vancouver in 2014. She first heard of Osteopathy from her sister-in-law when she took her 4 year old niece in for treatment for an ear infection. Kristen sat in on the appointment and was really impressed by how gentle the treatment was, how calm my niece was, and by how much it helped decrease her pain. I decided to get a treatment to experience it for herself. After Kristen personally experienced the tremendous benefits of the holistic approach of osteopathy for chronic hip pain, she knew she wanted to become an Osteopathic Practitioner. Kristen was amazed at how much her hip improved after her initial visit. This lead Kristen to complete her 4 year Osteopathic education from the Canadian School of Osteopathy in Vancouver in 2022. Practicing Osteopathy has enforced her belief in the body’s ability to heal itself and my role in helping to facilitate and support that process. Kristen loves helping people optimize their health and improve their quality of life. Kristen has experience treating a wide variety of conditions and injuries, tailoring your treatment to your individual needs. Using a combination of joint mobilization, muscle energy technique, myofascial release, visceral and craniosacral techniques, the goal of her treatment is to encourage self-regulation within the body, reduce pain, restore mobility and improve function.
