Krista Zambolin- Board Certified Behaviour Analyst Krista is a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst with more than 25 years of experience supporting autistic children and individuals with developmental disabilities across home, school, preschool, clinic, and community environments. Her work includes behaviour and functional assessment, Positive Behaviour Support, functional communication, skill development, parent coaching, school participation, and support for children with complex behavioural, communication, adaptive, and developmental needs. Krista has experience teaching learners with varied learning styles and academic needs. She's spent a lot of time working on social skills and social goals with all learners, but especially with students in the middle school through high school age groups. Krista takes a compassionate, individualized approach to behaviour support. She works to understand why a behaviour is happening and collaborates with clients, families, and other professionals to develop practical strategies that can be used in everyday life. She has extensive experience collaborating with Speech-Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, psychologists, physicians, educators, and community teams. She also brings significant experience in clinical supervision, inclusive education, early intervention, and parent and professional education. Krista provides in-person services at Allied Therapy's Bedford clinic, community and home-based services in the Halifax area, and virtual support across Nova Scotia.
