About Kirsten

Kirsten was born and raised right here in the Westshore. She spent her childhood playing softball, soccer, and volleyball before adventuring to Alberta for her post-secondary career. After spending most of the past 7 years away, she is incredibly excited to be back home and working in her community. Kirsten graduated from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Kinesiology with distinctions in 2020. She then went on to complete her Master of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Alberta in 2023. Kirsten’s passion for physiotherapy started at a young age following a back injury that caused her to spend a significant amount of her youth at physio. This also resulted in her pursuing alternative forms of therapy such as Pilates, which led her to become a trained Pilates Reformer instructor. She is a strong advocate for injury prevention and maintaining a healthy, active lifestyle. If you are looking for a caring and skilled physiotherapist to help you on your journey, look no further. Kirsten is looking forward to meeting you and helping you achieve your health and wellness goals. Outside of work, you can find Kirsten in the gym lifting weights (probably listening to country music), running, spending time with friends and family, hiking, travelling, and walking her rescue dog Jack.
