Born and raised in Surrey, British Columbia, Kirat’s journey into massage therapy is rooted in a lifelong passion for movement. Before entering clinical practice, Kirat explored physical performance through competitive Division 2 soccer and the dynamic, rhythmic footwork of Bhangra (Punjabi folk) dance.
This background in athletics and performance provided Kirat with firsthand insight into the physical demands placed on the body, as well as the challenges of injury, tension, and recovery. Today, that experience informs Kirat’s approach to massage therapy, focusing on helping clients restore balance, mobility, and overall wellness.
Kirat is currently a first-year student at the Alberta College of Massage Therapy (ACMT). Her academic training is complemented by years of personal experience in strength training, fitness, and nutrition, giving her a strong foundational understanding of musculoskeletal health and recovery from high-intensity activity.
Viewing herself as a “body mechanic,” Kirat believes the body requires regular maintenance to perform at its best. Her treatment approach focuses on relaxation massage, deep tissue techniques, and myofascial therapy to reduce tension, improve mobility, and support overall well-being. Kirat’s goal is to help clients feel restored, balanced, and energized in their everyday lives.
