About Kim
Kim is a Registered Social Worker with over 20 years of experience supporting individuals and families across all stages of life. She is deeply passionate about walking alongside individuals and couples through life’s hardest and most transformative seasons. With a warm and grounded approach, she supports people navigating grief, loss, infertility, birth trauma, miscarriage, TFMR, and stillbirth, as well as those facing the emotional ups and downs of postpartum adjustment, parenting, and identity shifts.
Kim understands how these experiences can shake your sense of self, your relationships, and your overall well-being. She offers evidence-based modalities with tools and strategies to help clients find calm and to ease the weight these times place on day to day life.
Prior to private practice, Kim worked in hospital supporting clients navigating NICU stays and those parenting children with medical or complex care needs. Her hospital experience also provided her with the opportunity to support individuals who were themselves - or whose loved ones were - facing complex medical diagnoses, including cancer and palliative care. She brings that knowledge and understanding to her current clients who find themselves navigating similar paths and need support through uncertainty and decision-making.
Kim’s personal experiences with multiple miscarriages and birth trauma deeply shaped her path and fueled her passion for supporting women, men, and their partners through their own journeys of healing and growth. She also holds specialized training in Infertility Counselling, Birth Trauma, and Pediatric Grief & Bereavement.
Kim offers a space where you can show up exactly as you are, without pressure, without judgment, and where you can begin to make sense of what you’re feeling. Her goal is for her clients to feel supported and heard. She is deeply committed to helping clients develop the tools they need to address their difficulties and understand themselves more fully. She believes everyone deserves to live a fulfilling life.
