Registered Massage Therapist since 1990 Education: University of Windsor ( Kinesiology ) Sutherland-Chan ( Massage Therapy Degree ) Background: A former competitive athlete, Kim became interested in massage while volunteering at an athletic rehab clinic. About Kim: For the past 30 years Kim has been an examiner for the Ontario Massage Therapist Certification Exams, and in her capacity as a Subject Expert, helped to set the exam for 5 years. Massage Style: Kim understands the needs of the athlete, thus excelling in sports massage. After practising massage for over 30 years, Kim has become knowledgeable in treating a large variety of aliments and conditions. Massage Philosophy: I believe you should treat the body as a unit, because one area can’t function well on its own. Massage therapy allows me to treat my clients holistically – both the mind and body. Kim practices Deep Tissue Massage, Swedish Massage, Sports Massage, Prenatal and Pediatric Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, Hot Stone Massage and Myofascial Release. She has also completed first level certification in Craniosacral Massage.
