About Khadeja

Khadeja is a compassionate and dedicated Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology and over 7 years of experience in the field of mental health. She has provided psychotherapy to clients in different settings including outpatient clinics, rehabilitation, hospital based services, community settings, and university counselling centres as well. She has also experience as a psychometrist conducting psychological assessments. Khadeja supports individuals and couples with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, OCD, PTSD and trauma related difficulties, psychosis, grief and loss, autism and neurodevelopmental differences, relationship and family issues, academic and career stress, self-esteem, faith related concerns, and adjustment to major life changes. Drawing on her clinical training and diverse experience, Khadeja integrates Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT), DBT informed skills, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness based and trauma informed approaches, along with psychodynamic insight into patterns and relationships. She tailors her approach to the unique needs, goals, and cultural context of each client, helping them understand how their thoughts, emotions, behaviours, and past experiences are connected, and how they can begin to create new, healthier patterns. Khadeja believes that people may not always have control over what they have been through, especially in the context of adversity and trauma, but with the right support they can rediscover safety, agency, and hope. Her therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, culturally sensitive, and respectful of clients’ faith and values. She provides a space where clients can explore their inner world, including questions about faith and meaning, at a pace that feels safe for them. Fluent in English, Urdu, Hindi, and Punjabi, Khadeja is passionate about working with client from any cultures or backgrounds. She strives to create a safe, non-judgmental space where people can do their inner work, unlearn unhelpful patterns, and move toward a more meaningful and fulfilling life.
