About Kerry
I have been working in the field of mental health for over 35 years. My scope of practice includes addictions, depression, anxiety, OCD, autism, ADHD, suicidality. I have worked in corrections for over 10 years and in the school system for over 20 years. I am comfortable working with children, adolescents, adults and families. My style of counseling is more conversational and coaching in style. When the closets of your mind become overwhelmed and cluttered with thoughts and feelings undealt with, I can be the closet organizer that helps you find meaning with things. I can help put them into a place of relevance of your choosing rather than your mind dictating when you will be overwhelmed with these thoughts and feelings. In real life my closets are a definitely not great, but in the realm of mental health, I am confident in my abilities to help. I am comfortable working within multiple modalities but frequently utilize CBT, DBT and focus on a strengths perspective.
