Are you a Veteran looking for support? Or has your child or teen been struggling with emotions, behaviours, or challenges that feel overwhelming? Do you find yourself unsure of how to support them best? Whether they are facing a specific diagnosis, experiencing anxiety or frustration, or simply feeling stuck, you are not alone. Many families and young people navigate these difficulties, and the right support can make all the difference.
I am a Registered Psychotherapist and a Registered Social Service Worker with a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MACP). My passion is working with children, teens, and young adults, helping them understand their emotions, build confidence, and develop the skills they need to thrive. I have extensive experience supporting individuals with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD), ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD), and those who have experienced trauma or traumatic brain injuries (TBI/ABI).
In addition to working with youth, I also support veterans as they navigate life's complexities after service. Having served for 25 years as an Aeromedical Flight Medic in the military, I understand the challenges of transitioning to civilian life, managing trauma, and finding new purpose. My experience allows me to offer a compassionate, understanding approach to veterans seeking support for mental health, trauma, or adjustment difficulties.
I believe every person deserves to be seen, heard, and valued for who they are. My approach is warm, supportive, and tailored to each individual’s unique needs.
If this resonates, reach out to Alysha, our Intake Coordinator, for a free 20-minute consultation to see if I would be the right fit.
