About Kenna

Kenna is passionate about supporting individuals as they navigate life’s challenges and begin their healing journeys. She strives to create a safe, compassionate space where clients feel seen, heard, and accepted. Her client-centered approach emphasizes empathy, collaboration, and meeting individuals where they are, without judgment. Kenna works especially well with individuals experiencing relationship challenges, work-related stress, loneliness, anxiety, and depressive symptoms. She meets clients where they are at and helps them feel heard and supported when navigating some of life’s toughest times. In sessions, she offers a warm and inviting environment where clients are encouraged to show up as their authentic selves. She aims to create a strong therapeutic relationship with her clients that allows people to feel more comfortable in working together to tackle their healing goals. Whether you’re feeling stuck, disconnected, or unsure of what comes next, Kenna listens with care and offers thoughtful, compassionate support. Grounded in Person-Centered Therapy, Kenna integrates tools from a variety of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Emotion-Focused therapy, to tailor her work to each client’s unique needs. She collaborates with clients to identify strengths, set meaningful goals, and develop practical strategies that support emotional well-being and personal growth. When working with young people (ages 7+), she incorporates creative and compassionate techniques such as play, music, art, and media to connect and support expression and healing. Sometimes talking isn’t the easiest way to work through things and communicate, and that’s okay. Outside of the therapy room, Kenna enjoys traveling, cheering on the Oilers (through the highs and lows), and spending time with her dog, Peanut, who firmly believes he’s the real emotional support expert. With Kenna’s support, clients can expect a collaborative and compassionate therapeutic relationship focused on resilience, growth, and meaningful change.
