About Kelly

I am a Licensed Master Social Worker with more than 15 years of experience in the mental health field. Throughout my career, I have been dedicated to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges, develop effective coping strategies, and create lasting, meaningful change. My goal is to provide high-quality, evidence-based care in a supportive and respectful environment. I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, stress, major life transitions, and caregiver strain. I understand that seeking support can feel overwhelming, and I strive to create a calm, professional, and welcoming space where clients feel comfortable discussing difficult experiences and working toward practical solutions. My therapeutic approach is individualized and grounded in evidence-based practices. I have specialized training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I). Treatment is tailored to each client’s needs, with an emphasis on building skills that promote resilience, emotional regulation, and improved overall functioning.A significant focus of my practice includes working with individuals and families navigating dementia and other memory-related conditions. I provide education, emotional support, and practical guidance to caregivers and loved ones managing the complex challenges associated with cognitive decline. I recognize the unique stressors, grief, and role adjustments that accompany these diagnoses and offer support grounded in both clinical expertise and compassion. I earned my Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Michigan and my Master of Social Work from Wayne State University, where I specialized in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I would be honoured to partner with you as you move toward greater balance and well-being.
