About Kelly

Kelly is a counsellor with a deep commitment to creating compassionate, collaborative spaces where clients feel seen, supported, and empowered. Her approach is trauma-informed, grounded in mindfulness and embodiment practices, and shaped by a belief in each person’s capacity for growth and healing. She works with adults, couples, and groups navigating experiences such as grief and loss, life transitions, anxiety, depression, disability, family conflict, parenting, and identity. She also support clients who are exploring spirituality, managing stress, or seeking greater balance in their lives. With her social work background and lived experience as a parent of a child with a disability, Kelly also supports caregivers navigating complex family needs, systems, services, and the emotional realities of caregiving. Depending on your needs, this may include both therapeutic support and practical assistance in identifying resources, accessing services, and planning next steps. At the heart of her work is a commitment to authenticity, humility, and learning. She strives to meet clients where they are, honouring their unique stories and strengths while offering tools and perspectives to support meaningful change. Education & Experience Kelly holds a Master of Social Work from Wilfrid Laurier University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (Honours) from Simon Fraser University. She has completed additional training in grief and loss, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and couples counselling through the Gottman Institute. Before becoming a counsellor, Kelly spent two decades in community programming and wellness, where she developed inclusive programs for children, youth, families, and adults. She also worked as a yoga and fitness instructor, helping people connect with movement, mindfulness, and overall well-being.
