Hello, my name is Kellsey! I graduated from the Master of Occupational Therapy program at the
University of Manitoba in 2008, and began my career working with adults with spinal cord injuries and
amputations at the Health Sciences Centre.
In 2009, I started working at Children’s Hospital in
Winnipeg with children from infancy to adolescence, with a variety of neurodevelopmental
differences, prematurity, brain injuries, oncology diagnoses and substance exposures in both
inpatient and outpatient settings. I then, joined the MB FASD Centre in 2017 as a clinical specialist
where I was a leader in the comprehensive assessment of motor and sensory processing skills, and their contribution to a client's participation in daily, academic and leisure activities.
I value lifelong learning and enjoy sharing knowledge. This has been demonstrated by embracing opportunities to present nationally and internationally with the MB FASD team as well as fulfill the role as an educator across the province.
I am driven to support children, youth and adults in achieving their goals, by utilizing a strength-based and neurodiversity affirming approach, as well as my extensive experience and assessment skills. I am inspired by lived experiences, and driven to co-create positive changes across environments through individualized recommendations.
I am looking forward to connecting with you, your family and/or your team!
