About Kayla

Kayla graduated with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from Queen’s University after obtaining her Bachelor of Health Sciences with a minor in Gerontology from the University of Ottawa. Since graduation, she has completed Levels 1 through 3 of the Canadian Orthopaedic Division’s Advanced Integrated Musculoskeletal (AIM) Physiotherapy Program and obtained her Trigger Point Dry Needling certification through Acupuncture Canada. She joined Lynn Valley Physio in 2019. Kayla’s approach to physiotherapy is evidence-based and guided by each individual client’s context. Her treatment plans integrate education, manual therapy, and targeted exercise prescription. Whether the goal is returning to work, sport, or activities of daily living, Kayla aims to motivate and provide the practical strategies necessary to empower clients to return to the activities they are most passionate about. A closet artist, Kayla can be found in her spare time dabbling in one of her many creative hobbies. Recently, she’s been keeping active with swimming, hiking, and chasing after her gregarious toddler.
