About Katherine
Hello! I’m Katherine (she/her), and I’m a Registered Counselling Therapist - Candidate practicing in Halifax, Nova Scotia. With every client, I aim to create a warm and supportive environment based on trust and connection. From the foundation of this strong relationship, we work together to explore your experiences, uncover your strengths, and nurture growth.
I hold a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology and am an accredited practitioner in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (Level 2). My approach integrates a variety of techniques and is tailored to your needs. I aim to offer an inclusive and affirming space for counselling and welcome individuals of all races, genders, faiths, abilities, and sexual orientations.
I transitioned to this career after more than a decade in the legal field, which gave me a deep insight into the challenges of a high-stress profession and the demands of being a working parent. Outside of my time at Harbour Path, I love spending time reading, knitting, cuddling my cat, and indulging in nerdy TV shows and movies.
