About Kate

Kate (she/her) graduated from the Masters of Speech Language Pathology program at the University of Sydney. Since then, she has practiced in Australia working with children of all ages. Kate’s focus is working with complex communicators and alternative augmentative communication (AAC). She also enjoys working with speech sound and language challenges, as well as with teens and young adults to support social communication and understanding their strengths and challenges. Kate’s additional trainings include: - Natural Language Acquisition for Gestalt Language Processing - Nuffield Program for Childhood Apraxia of Speech - LAMP Word for Life In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and swimming in the lake near her house. She enjoys doing puzzles, reading and baking when she can.
