About Kate

Kate holds a Masters of Arts in Counselling and is a Registered Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists. She is passionate about working with clients one-on-one to address their mental health concerns, with particular emphasis on: Healing from Abuse, Trauma and PTSD, Anxiety, Depression, and Stress, Codependency, Body acceptance, and Gender and Sexuality. Kate is a LGBTQ+ friendly therapist. Kate is kink-aware and poly-aware therapist, though she only sees clients on an individual basis and does not offer relationship counselling. Kate believes that the therapeutic space should provide safety. Kate uses a collaborative model for therapy that draws on several approaches based on client’s needs and presenting concerns.
