Katayoon Osatiaraghi held a PhD in Clinical Psychology from Iran and brought over 20 years of professional experience, including 15 years of specialized psychotherapy practice. She was a licensed practitioner in Iran and a Certified Canadian Counsellor (CCC) with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA).
Her expertise spanned CBT, REBT, EFT, ISTDP, EMDR, diagnostic interviewing, and psychological testing. She also held additional certifications in Gottman Couples Therapy, Sex Therapy, LGBTQ+ Sexual Health, Neurofeedback, and Art Therapy.
She had taught as a university lecturer, trained others in the DISC personality model, and was recognized as an award-winning researcher at international conferences.
Katayoon’s extensive clinical experience covered both Iran and Canada, where she worked with diverse populations across individual, couple, and family contexts. She focused on providing culturally sensitive, evidence-based interventions tailored to her clients’ unique needs.
Her areas of focus included pre- and post-marital counseling, family therapy, immigration and cultural adjustment, anxiety disorders, divorce, grief, sex therapy, and innovative approaches such as art-based interventions and psychedelic-assisted therapy.
She remained committed to evidence-based, integrative, and culturally sensitive practice, supporting individuals, couples, and families from diverse backgrounds in both Iran and Canada.
