About Kasandra

Kassie believes in the importance of establishing a relationship between the clinician and client, as she believes that a strong working alliance can hold space for working through any presenting challenges. Kassie specializes in working with clients who may have difficulties with anxiety, ADHD, self-esteem, motivation, school difficulties, and is an ally to the LGBTQ2S+ community. She has a client-centered focus, where she will meet you where you are at and work collaboratively to find the approach that fits best for you. Kassie utilizes techniques primarily from Solution-Focused therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). Kassie works with children, youth, and adults. Kassie has extensive assessment experience completing psychoeducational assessments, which is a way to find personalized strategies to support a child, youth, or adult. With these assessments, Kassie can explore any difficulties in cognition (problem solving, reasoning), academics (reading, writing, math), or social/emotion/behaviour (anxiety, depression, inattention, social) alongside the DSM-5TR.
