About Karisa
Karisa Bili (SLP) became a registered Speech-Language Pathologist in 2023 after completing an Honours Bachelor of Arts in linguistics and psychology in 2020 and a Master of Health Science in Speech-Language Pathology in 2023, both at the University of Toronto. She works in pediatrics, with a lot of experience in articulation (making speech sounds like 'r') and some experience in fluency/stuttering (mostly preschool), early language, literacy (reading), and working with kids with neurodivergence (i.e., ASD, ADHD). She also has a little experience in motor speech therapy and working with kids with assisted hearing. She offers services in English and has some knowledge of Serbian, Italian, and ASL. She is ASIST trained. For Karisa, a successful therapy session means the client felt comfortable, had fun, and made gains toward their goals, and she ensures her care is client- and family-centered through collaboration with the client, their family, and their multi-disciplinary team at Anderson.
