About Karin

Karin is a Registered Massage Therapist and Manual Osteopathic Practitioner with 10 years of experience in bodywork and wellness. Her professional training began in 2013 with two 200-hour yoga teacher trainings and Reiki level I & II, followed by Reiki Master training in 2016 with William Lee Rand. She completed a 2200-hour Diploma in Massage Therapy at MH Vicars School of Massage Therapy in 2018 and has since developed a diverse practice incorporating therapeutic massage, TMJ and intraoral massage, CranioSacral Therapy, Myofascial Release, Maya Abdominal Massage, lymphatic drainage, myofascial cupping, and Spinal Flow® Technique. She has also served as a teaching assistant for Dynamic Cupping through Seminars for Health, supporting the training of other massage therapists. Karin holds a Diploma in Manual Osteopathy and a BA in Psychology with Distinction, as well as 600+ hours of yoga teacher training. Her approach is informed by somatic and trauma-informed principles, with an emphasis on creating a safe, respectful, and individualized treatment experience. In addition to her formal manual osteopathy education, Karin has pursued specialized training in John F. Barnes Myofascial Release, Upledger CranioSacral Therapy, Chikly Lymph Drainage Therapy, Maya Abdominal Massage (Rosita Arvigo), and visceral manipulation through the Barral Institute. She has also completed Somatic Stress Release® training with Dr. Scott Lyons and a workshop through the Hakomi Institute exploring a somatic approach to working with trauma. Karin is a certified breathwork facilitator (David Elliott™), Meditation teacher (davidji), and is trained in Gong Yoga Therapy (Sound Healing) and Yoga Nidra. She enjoys integrating these complementary approaches to support mobility, nervous-system regulation, and overall well-being. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys travelling, swimming, spending time in nature, and hosting women’s wellness retreats.
