Karen took her 2400 hr Massage Therapy Training in Saskatoon at McKay Massage & Hydrotherapy Graduating in 2002. She opened Soul Rejuvenation in Provost in August of 2002. She loves to help people heal and enjoys learning new ways to treat the body. She is a Registered Massage Therapist, LaStone Therapist, Rapid Neurofascial Reset Specialist and a Reiki Master. She has 2 active boys who keep her busy outside of work. She loves life and to be outdoors camping and spending time with friends

“I have suffered for a very long time with sciatic pain in my right hip and leg. I have found a very good Chiropractor in Edmonton that has helped me a lot by using non invasive treatments, but 4 hours one way to see him was getting a little time consuming so I decided to try massage as a way of keeping myself tolerant of the pain until I could make the time to go to Edmonton. The massage was definitely giving me some relief, but not fixing the problem. Then Karen told me about a course she was taking on visceral manipulation and I was very interested to try it. I wanted to try it for other reasons than my sciatic pain and so booked a treatment with her last week. She explained that I might feel some flu like symptoms afterwards. But after the treatment I was a little tender where she had worked on my liver and my intestines, but no flu like symptoms. What I did notice right away was that nite I slept with little sciatic discomfort. For a week now I have noticed that my sciatic is not hurting and the pain that went down my leg and my knee has totally disappeared. I was even on a 10 hour vehicle trip this week and not once did I have to get out and stretch because of my sciatic. I did not get a visceral manipulation treatment to help with that specific problem, but now I think that my liver was sitting in the wrong position and pinching that nerve, and now that it has been manipulated I have next to no pain. This is definitely worth a try. I cannot wait to go back for another treatment.”Read moreShow less
