Kanu has been practicing physiotherapy since 2014. She completed her Masters in sports physiotherapy in India.
She is passionate about exploring injuries and their treatment in different types of populations and age groups from 15 to over 100!
With keen interest in sports and musculoskeletal injuries, Kanu has worked with the Indian Wrestling and Weightlifting team in national and international games and championships .
To explore the demand of physiotherapy, she has worked with the Bollywood celebrities in India as their physiotherapist. To experience more about the patient population, she has worked as inpatient physiotherapist ( medical and long term care for elderly people) and as an outpatient therapist for all age groups in King Edward hospital in Bermuda.
She moved to Canada in 2021 and has been working as registered Physiotherapist since then. She is experienced in seeing all types of musculoskeletal, sports and work related injuries. She also works with ICBC, WSBC and persistent pain clients with expertise in manual therapy, dry needling, exercise prescription, and functional rehabilitation and pelvic floor therapy, including internal examination.
In her free time, she loves to explore and communicate with people of different cultures & traditions and loves to workout.
