What were you doing before pursuing RMT?
Before starting at VCMT, I worked as a hospital pharmacist in Japan and spent two years working in Singapore. After moving to Canada, I continued working in healthcare as a pharmacy assistant.
Why do you want to be an RMT?
My passion for massage therapy comes from my time working in healthcare, where I saw just how much stress and physical tension can impact overall well-being. Massage has always been my go-to for my own recovery and stress relief, proving to me how effective hands-on care can be.
How do you like to spend your time outside of work/school?
In my free time, I love staying active and unwinding through yoga, hiking, and discovering new local cafes.
What is your favourite thing about VCMT?
Hands down, the supportive community! I love the collaborative energy between students and teachers.
