About Julie

Julie will be starting her maternity leave in early August 2026 and plans to return to the clinic in September 2027. During her leave, please book your massage treatments with Jessica. Julie graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Outdoor Adventure and Tourism in 2012. She spent several years guiding outdoor adventures, from sea kayaking to hiking. With her passion for an active lifestyle and a desire to better understand human anatomy and movement, she completed a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in 2018 before pursuing a career as a Registered Massage Therapist. Julie graduated from the Okanagan Valley College of Massage Therapy in 2020. Passionate about health and self-care, Julie strives to provide personalized massage treatments that help alleviate pain and improve quality of life. She incorporates a variety of techniques, including trigger point therapy, myofascial release, deep tissue massage, and orthopedic assessment, to create individualized treatment plans and achieve each patient's goals. Drawing on her yoga training, she also integrates breathwork to help regulate the nervous system and promote longer-lasting treatment benefits. Committed to ongoing professional development, Julie is excited to offer Dr. Vodder's Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) to further support her patients' health and recovery. In her free time, Julie can usually be found in the mountains hiking, skiing, or mountain biking. When she's not outdoors, she enjoys spending time in her garden with friends, family, and her four chickens.
