About Julie

Neuro Rehab Specialist Julie has a special interest in stroke and geriatric rehabilitation . She believes in supporting clients in regaining independence, improving mobility, and building confidence in daily life. Julie brings over 20 years of experience working as an NDT trained occupational therapist assistant/physical therapist assistant with individuals living with neurological conditions across the continuum of care — from acute hospital settings, to inpatient rehabilitation, and now community-based practice. Julie believes therapy should be meaningful and functional, focusing on practical movement strategies that translate directly into real-world activities at home and in the community. Her approach blends evidence-based rehabilitation with holistic techniques such as mindfulness, meditation, Tai Chi, and yoga. By integrating body awareness, balance, strength, and functional mobility, she supports both physical recovery and overall well-being. Julie is passionate about empowering clients through steady progress, education, and compassionate care. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys lake life, walking her dogs, and coaching volleyball — staying active and connected to her community in every season.
