Julie (She/her) began her journey in Massage Therapy with a passion for becoming a part of the solution to chronic pain and wellness. Her approach is grounded in the biopsychosocial model, which considers the complex interactions between these factors in health and pain management. She believes in preventative care and tailors her treatments to be inclusive and accessible for all, acknowledging the unique health journey of each individual.
A graduate of the 3000-hour program at Okanagan Valley College of Massage Therapy in Vernon, BC, in 2016, Julie has worked in diverse environments, including Heli-skiing organizations and multidisciplinary clinics, while maintaining a private practice. She thrives on continuous learning and has developed a keen interest in assessment-based treatments, focusing on identifying and addressing the root causes of dysfunctional movement and chronic pain.
As a clinical practitioner, Julie helps her clients manage pain, reduce muscle spasms, restore mobility, and improve overall function. Her treatments aim to not only relieve symptoms but also support long-term wellness and return to activity, helping clients navigate chronic conditions and improve their quality of life.
In her free time, you can find Julie paddleboarding or hiking with her family on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the Ktunaxa peoples.

“Julie is absolutely fantastic. I had the most amazing massage from her. Julie was so attentive and really took the time to understand my needs. The atmosphere was so relaxing, and I felt completely at ease from the moment I walked in. I left feeling refreshed and rejuvenated, and I can't wait to go back for my next session. “Julie is so welcoming and kind. She makes you feel relaxed and totally at ease. I have always had great results after every session. She is a friendly, compassionate, professional that always listens to how I am doing and how my body is feeling. She is insightful and can tell if something is off by the way I carry myself into the room. She is an experienced RMT who understands the body and can always get to the source of pain which is not always where the pain is felt. Julie is a fantastic therapist and I highly recommend her.”Read moreShow less
