Julian, currently an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Toronto, graduated as a Physiotherapist from the Laurea University of Applied Sciences, Helsinki, Finland in 2003. Over the next 9 years, he worked part-time as the Head Coach and Physiotherapist of Finland’s, Men’s National Cricket Team, participating in European competitions, specialized as a Musculoskeletal physiotherapy at a London teaching hospital and provided pitch-side physiotherapy cover for the Crystal Palace Football Club’s 11-15 age groups. He assisted as a coach with the Canadian Men's and Women's cricket teams in 2013.
Julian has had extensive experience in post-surgical rehabilitation for anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) repairs, back surgeries, lower limb and shoulder surgeries. His expertise is in sport-specific rehabilitation using treatment as an opportunity to improve performance. In athletes and non-athletes alike, he effectively treats Achilles tendon and plantar-fasciitis pain as well as specializes in the treatment of adolescent athletes and running injuries.
